Connection: the benefits of community
“The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures. It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth in numberless blades of grass and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers. It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth and of death, in ebb and in flow. I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life. And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.” – Rabindranath Tagore
And we BELIEVE the very same stream of life runs through yours. We are all connected.
Why connection matters
We have, for millennia, had an intrinsic desire for tribalism. Where the loyalty, protection and camaraderie we find in the people that we surround ourselves with is important; determining who we are as individuals and how we view and treat the world around us.
A tribe harbours an environment for generating new ideas while fostering a sense of community which is vital for a healthy productive life. Providing a sense of purpose, a reason to interact with others and even health and wellbeing benefits.
Yet in modern democracies, individualism reigns supreme, unrestrained by others. But what if the quest for individualism is actually causing us to feel disconnected and lost ... miserable? What if belonging and self-sacrifice is actually the key to feeling fulfilled? Where a healthy ‘win/win’ mentality forms and the group is in competition with what’s possible, not with another tribe!
We BELIEVE that connecting with others has the power to truly change lives. REACH OUT. We are! We are seeking a tribe who have the knowledge and insight needed to inspire, educate and motivate.
